I know tons about Ludwig, but Im not really a slingerland guy. With that said, how rare is orange or tangerine sparkle? Not sure what it was officially called. Got a mint 5x14 snare here in that color.

With hoop or lug off would be nice

April 2nd 1969 scarfed pink champagne holly wood and 65/66 downbeat snare, and , supra same year very minty kit old pies
66/67 downbeat with canister
Super 400 small round knob
1967 super classic obp

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

Hello doungthuan and Welcome to the forum! Like slingerfan said, the color was called Sparkling Orange Pearl and is very rare. One of our members was looking for a kit in that color not too long ago. Attached is a picture I found on eBay back in October, 2005!

Wow Mark, you have held onto that one for a long time! I guess that tends to show just how rare that finish is.

Dan!

I have 1000's of downloaded drum pictures over the years. Really helps for topics just like this! As to Sparkling Orange Pearl, that picture is my only one, so yeah, it sure is rare!
