Slingerland Modern 9N:value?

Loading...

I have a 3 piece Sling Modern 9N set that is in suberb condition with original hardware, except for a floor tom muffler that was replaced. I have no idea of the kit's market value ( the sentimental is huge ). I don't have a snare to sell with it.

Does anyone have any thoughts to guide me? Much appreciated.

Well just a quick vintage drum set search on ebay looks like drums only... $800 to $1000. If you have all the stands, pedals and hardware.. you should crack $1000 pretty easy. I think if you ask $875 they move really quickly... bump it up a few hundred... they move but not so quickly.

That is based on 5 minutes of research and no picture of your drums.

But if there is huge sentimental value... why sell them? If you need the cash sell something else.

Not a Guru... just interested..

Thanks for the replies. I'm not sure if I'd ever sell, but since I bought a set of Craviottos two years ago my Slingerlands have sat in their cases. I do

have a snare to include: a Ludwig from the late 1960s. The other question is do I part with my Turkish K Zildjian hi- hats? Those I play every day. I'm guessing they're more valuable than the drums.
