Slingerland Mid/Late 60's 4-hole Rail Consolette

Loading...

*****The Slingy rail has sold*****

This is a Slingerland "4-hole" rail consolette in good condition. The consolette has been modified. A rivet holding one of the curved feet to the rail has been drilled out and replaced with a bolt and nut (the bolt is not chrome plated). Although not original, the removable bolt and nut make it easier to install the upper portion of a consolette.

I do have a rather gnarly looking MIJ upper consollete I can include if you want it.

Rail only: $50 plus shipping to continental USA.

With MIJ Upper Consolette: $60 plus shipping to continental USA.

Edit: I'm happy to say that I did have the original mounting hardware for this rail. Although their not pictured here, I have the correct bolts, washers and screws to mount the rail to a bass drum.

Do you know which top piece goes with this?

Yes, what you see on my Yellow Tigers is correct. The diamond plate on the tom is a replacement, but the entire rail assembly on the bass drum (rail and upper section) are correct for Slingerland. In fact, the rail I am selling is original to this Yellow Tiger kit and the MIJ upper section is what was on it. I found a complete Slingy consolette and replaced the whole thing. What you see is the replacement.

This is getting a little off topic, but I also have an almost complete, brand new Maxwell reproduction consolette available. I was using the upper section of the Maxwell with the original rail up until I found this Slingy consolette. The only thing missing from the Maxwell is the long spade and diamond plate, which is on this tom. Sorry if I've confused you!
