Hi All! Haven't been by much lately. Busy with a new band.

I picked these up Tues. from George Lawrence at his shop in Ohio.

I had this same kit ,minus the 14" floor tom when I was 10,12 years old.

Lost in a house fire. I started looking again about 6 years ago and never saw even one piece in this color. I HAD TO HAVE IT!!, I told myself. So I got it.

It is in good shape. I just got back from Precision Drum and had Gary take a look at the shells. Only the 12" needed any work. It had some ply separation and he will be doing the bearing edges a bit.The snare was recut by someone else. A good job,but I think the snare bed is a bit to deep. I intend to keep the kit forever and play it out for a bit. I will post some pics of it all cleaned up when I get done with it.

Sizes,12,14ft, 16ft, 20bass 5.25"x14" Sorry wrong post area. Anyone want to move it?

Cheers,Ed

Thanks Fellas!! They sounded so good in the store too. I got the snare cleaned and back together. Sounds great!! As good as if not better than my Powertones. Pics soon. Going rafting and camping in a few hours for the weekend.

As far as outside gigs go, is a 20" bass enough? Miced up and all.

Since 73 I always had 22''s.

Cheers,Ed
