My sax player gave me some old Slingerlands that were found in a basement. 12" tom and a 22" bass (which sadly is in dire shape). The date stamps are smudged so I wonder if anyone wants to venture to guess an approximate date. I'm pretty sure they are 50's. I didn't manage to upload an interior shot but it's mahogany with maple rings.

Yes, based on your description of mahogany interiors, I'd also say mid to late 50's. I'm guessing no air vent or logos?
