Slingerland Floor Tom 18" - Need Help With Year

I have an 18" Slingerland floor tom, see pics below. Can't figure out what year it was made and what type of wood was used. Any help would be great. Thanks!

Late 70s early 80s it's maple and poplar 5 ply. Love these 5 ply shells no matter what people say. Bet that thing sounds awesome

LOOKS LIKE 70'S ERA(black & silver Niles badge). IF IT HAS HAS RE-RINGS ON THE INSIDE THEN PROBABLY 3-PLY MAPLE. NO RE-RINGS THEN PROBABLY 5-PLY MAMPLE. IF THE INSIDE STAIN IS DARK(like the nice stain on the outside) THEN IT COULD BE MAHOGANY BUT IF IT HAS A YELLOWISH STAIN THEN IT'S MAPLE.

It is around a 1982-83 model it could be either the 3 or 5 ply shell with no reinforcement rings inside the shell. If you will post a pic of inside the shell and the bearing edge I can give you the exact scoop on it.?
