Slingerland COB score.

Loading...

Shopping for a kit for the nephew. Ran across a blue pearl kit with a Ludwig snare drum. Had a picture of the Slingerland badge. Some befores and after a quick bath. Slight dent that will come right out, minor rash. I could use a strainer knob if anyone has a spare. It has been a very good day.

Thanks!

The Pearls/Maxwins/CB700's look to be in great shape, and after 30 years of seasoning, those lauan shells will probably sound pretty good, too.

A Gene Krupa Sound King in that condition is worth a couple of hundy cleaned up, so, yeah, as longjohn said, free drum kit.

Thanks all! The GK/SK has taken a nasty drop. Won't be any problem for my plater to mend. Looks much worse in the pic than it is. Micro pitting on the strainer. Everything else is fine.

The kit is funny. Most trashed heads I've ever seen. Reso's are also trashed batters. As is. sounds much better than the 82 Tama Swingstar with cleaned up bearing edges and new Remo's. Started this for the Pearl:

This going to be fun.

I agree with Longjohn, you got a free kit. Nice of you to get that for your nephew.

Thank you!

Up past my bedtime cleaning the kit. Think I got a free snare. Kit is in near mint condition. Matters not, it was just nice to be first response on a CL ad and have the seller honor the deal.
