I took my re-wrapped Ludwig kit, the Bonham supra I just picked up for $75 and a couple cymbals to Rockin Robin and came away with this cool 60's Slingerland kit in a black sparkle pearl finish. The kit is really clean, inside and out, it has two 8x12's, 14x14, 14x20 and a matching 9.5x15 parade snare. I think this wrap is fairly rare, can anyone confirm this? The specks are maroon and the kit looks near mint, thanks.

yep it is a rare wrap
I need a Rockin Robin in my town. Seems like you're getting deal after deal there. Nice Slingerlands. Gotta keep these, Beav!
I've followed a couple auctions recently and both had cracking issues with the wrap. One was a Radio King snare and another was a set.
Got any cracks?
Nice ! And I would rather have a set of Slingerlands over Ludwigs anyday . On top of that you got a pretty rare finish . Cannot wait for better pics .

No cracks, no runs, no errors!
I've got a solid shell Slingy snare drum that would match those quite nicely!
Congratulations for buying one of my favorite drum sets that I've ever owned. I needed to downsize my collection to move to our new house. I kept my monogrammed front head, and custom painted the two-tone head to cover a blemish that I made when trying to remove a Remo logo. Here are a few pictures that I kept of that great set. I also have a single tom arm that I sometimes used to play with only one 8x12 up top. I usually used a Blackro snare with this set. You may have seen the 12x15 concert snare in matching wrap that I traded to Rockin Robin along with this set. I was thinking about cutting it down to be a 5x15, but never got around to it.
I got the matching snare and I measured the actual shell and it is a 9.5x15 snare. Would you consider selling me the single tom arm?
