Prayers and thoughts to Jerry. A class act. We should all strive to be as good a man as he is.I don't have one of his, but I do have one of what got him started...
Gary you are so right Jerry is one of the finest people to call a friend and drum brother. Prayers and thoughts are with him in this time and journey.
my prayers have gone out for jerry as well. I hate what he is having to go through. its heartbreaking. it really is. I can only wish him the best. I wish I knew more to say. it hurts.

My Jenkins/Martin snare that Jerry made for me:

And these are my beloved Blaemires:

My heart and my thoughts are with my buddy, Jinx...
Jerry's family is going to need support. If you don't own a Jenkins/Martin drum, -now- would be a good time to buy.

I wish I had some. One day I hope...... it's just heart breaking to me reading Jerry's goodbye post on DFO. Such a great guy who's helped so many.
Can someone enlighten us on the news? Health issues? I'm clueless. Thanks.
My friend/brother, Jerry, has been fighting cancer the last few years, and the battle is nearing its end. I texted him this morning, and hopefully he will respond. Lets all keep him in our prayers.

I don't have an actual J-M kit, but I do have their first - and only - complete set of concert toms:

The set is one-of-a-kind for another reason: with Ludwig lugs (at my request as a Ludwig artist,) there are also no Blaemire/J-M badges on the shells. I did ask, and Jerry politely explained why it wasn't right to do so. Classy, and correct.
While I'm showing off his work, here's a snare he made from an original Blaemire shell, 6¾x14" s'il vous plait!

Thank you for everything Jerry, and hats off as well to David Martin for manufacturing the raw shells.
