Shipping to Spain? Last viewed: 7 hours ago

Loading...

A guy in Spain sent me a message via ebay on a drum I have listed as US Shipping Only. He wants me to ship it to Spain via US Postal Service. I calculate the shipping charge at $118. Anybody have any experience with this? The ebay'ers feedback rating is 100% with low volume, but he has not had a transaction in over 2 years.

Thanks

jim

Hi,Jim. I have not had any problems shipping to Spain. The worst thing that has happened was customs held part of a kit and the buyer was upset with me. As far as the 2 year gap goes, that may be left up to your gut feeling about the guy. Any reason not to trust him? Good luck

speaking as someone from outside of the USA, we're not all bad:D

I'm not sure if ebay is the main auction site in Spain. It's not here in NZ (no ebay here) so I have very little Ebay feedback. What i do have is all from international transactions in drum related stuff. IMO it's probably safe to deal with the guy.

Quick message from a fellow European Ebay buyer. (Belgium)

If it wasn't for you guys (US sellers), we would never be able to enjoy those great instruments,... thanks for that!

Professionally, I'm working half of my time in Spain and dealt with many international shipments from and to Spain,... Language can be an issue but never had a logistical problem.

On the persons level, follow gut feeling I suppose.

Jim, I have been selling on Ebay for years.Their are two places that i don't ship to anymore. One being Spain and the other is Italy..The problem is at their end on shipping.Shipping times and the way they run the shipping companys over their is a P.I.T.A. it always seems that the seller wants the item is 2 weeks but it never works out that way.The last time i shipped a drum over to Italy it was 14 WEEKS before the buyer got it,they put a hold on my pay-pal account ete...This is why i dont ship anymore to these two places...Mikey
