Serialnr. Ludwig Acrolite help!

Hy Vintagefreaks:-)

i restored a Ludwig Acrolite Snare for a friend of mine with a blue/olive badge! The SerialNr. is 1782708, it came in a plastic-case with the stand. Can some of you guys let me know wich year this snare would be?

Any help would be cool, i am not very familiar with Ludwig gear...but that snare sounded awesome:-)

Probably 78 or 79... if I read the chart right. Take a look under the vintage drum identification tab above... there is a link to serial numbers there.

Acrolites are iconic snare drums... no doubt about that.

Not a Guru... just interested..
