I thought this would be a good time to check in and update you all as to what is going on behind the scenes as well as stuff you can see.  The forum has been running aduequately!  Fingers crossed on that.  There have been fixes and improvements behind the scenes.  The update password issue has been fixed.

I have been going through my collection and decided to start scanning some of the history which has not been shown yet.  I started with what I call the junk bin!  Although it is not junk, it is from the 80's, 90's and 00's.  I guess they would be vintage now! Once I get through this monumnetal stack of literature, I will venture deeper into the collection and start showing the pre-80's history.  

The main vintage drum guide will be expanding to all of the percussion literature I have, including LP, Toca etc.. - drum sticks - drum heads - and electronic drums that are in this misc. bin   Plus more! Some will be full catalog scans and others will be just the covers.  If I find something interesting, I will scan the entire catalog or brochure.

You will see the Tito article which will then give you an idea what it is about and the link to the Vintage Drum Guide page it is on.  I did finally wrap up my drum method book collection.  I did not realize I had over 500 method books!  That was a lot of scanning and when I thought I was done, I found another bin and just finished scanning them.

You may be asking yourself what else does he have to scan?  

  1.  I got a box of Gretsch Company artwork including Logo designs which never were used, artist photos and graphic layouts. (Found by a janitor in a closet)
  2. I have the complete court case between Slingerland and Ludwig including all of the depositions and history around the court case (Drum Heads)
