Sea Green Pearl "color wrap" auction

Loading...

Hi, Folks- I wanted to draw your attention to this e-Bay ad. I asked the seller to please refrain from using my photo of one of my snare drums to sell his "stuff". I asked nicely. He agreed. So, instead, he puts up a different photo of mine of a complete set, (just to mess with me I assume).

Just so you know....the auction for that fake looking sea green pearl wrap is not mine. I guess this guy thinks he's funny. Again....this is not my auction.

Mark you should watermark your pictures. Kinda sucks to have to do that but at least you get credit for your photos. His SGP is kinda blue looking. The original is much much nicer!

Glenn.

Not a guru just havin fun with some old dusty drums.

It's nice to see he posted so many horrible product photos. What he lacks in quality he attempts to make up for in quantity.

That was my thoughts also.

Well, he finally contacted me and asked permission to use the photos with some clarification. I agreed. I just initially didnt want to be associated with the ad, as it really had nothing to do with the original drum finish and was just kind of "bait and switch" scenario. I put a whole lot of hours into the photos, restorations, research, and history stuff and it's nice to get a little credit now and then! Even on e-Bay! :-)

His feedback score raises a red flag.
