Came across these for sale and wasn't sure of the value. I barely know anything about the brand but heard they were pretty decent drums before pearl bought the brand.
Any info would be appreciated. I'm going you check em out in a couple days.

Good drums.
Roxy is one of the brands by wellknown 'Tromsa' as also Vox, Korri, King and a lot of others.
You can easy find a bunch info about Tromsa on 'Non-USA' pages.
Cheers,
George.
"Before Pearl bought the brand"? That never happened. Those are nice German drums and the set looks very complete. But are they international diameters? hmmmmmmm...

Yeah not sure either way. Wish I could find something definitive about the history. I got that info from another section of the forum. Here's what I read:
"they were ORIGINALLY a German manufactured kit..and those were pretty good kits. Relatively rare to find a German Roxy anymore. Bits and pieces and orphan shells show up now and again.
BUT, the company name was sold to Pearl and they became another stencil name for '60's Pearls, or maybe Star-Tamas. Still had a Roxy badge, but they were straight-up Japanese stencil drums, luan shelled, Japanese styled hardware, and all. Not as good as the German originals reputedly were."
I've seen a few Roxy's here and there. I always thought the ones I saw were MIJ's. However, that bass reso head certainly increases the 'WOW' factor! Intoxicating! (yeah, had to add that)
