This Rogers set (for sale on eBay) is an example of set-ups that I always find interesting, where things are arranged the way they need to be without concern for the design intent. Here we have a mid-60's Swingtime outfit, to which a later 60's or possibly early 70's 9x13 tom was added. To get to where it is now in this picture, the first action is to turn the bass drum around so the spurs are at the rear. The original tom was then mounted into the cymbal rod Swivomatic holder and the 9x13 mounted into the original Swivomatic holder using and extra tom arm.

Another detail you see fairly often is having the bottom hoop caps reversed on the Dynasonic. Though you can't see it, most likely the entire snare frame is reversed as well.

Overall though, it looks pretty good with all the cymbals and hardware offered for $1500, except of course the missing bass hoop and hardware.
