@FFR428: Thanks for the kind words, Glenn. I'm a sucker for WMP. I've also got a WMP '58 Slingerland kit and love the looks AND sound of it.

@Cooper: I've never been a fan of mounting my toms on snare stands but I'm definitely going to do it with this kit the next time out. I wasn't all that comfortable with the reliability of the original double tom mount and post that came with this particular kit. THANKS for the recommendation!

@Funkypoodle: Thanks for the positive input. I expected very little out of this kit but have a funny feeling that's it's going to end up being one of my favorites.
