Thanks! The batter was changed in the early 70's but snare side has never been off. The rest of the drums have the original heads albeit worn- you can clearly see the old style Rogers stamp on the heads. I almost felt guilty taking them off for pics. The Dyna is amazing and appears to have little wear except for the batter head. I'm thinking I'm not going to play them out just to preserve them.

I noticed the air vent hole for the BD is located under the right spur. I've never seen that before. The rering for the BD is over 2 inchs which is fairly hefty. Any ideas on the value of the kit as a whole?
