Rogers hardware-Swivomatic-Expert Opinions: Is it correct?

I'll try to keep this short:

I bought some 395R cores to refurbish. Many parts were from different eras. This is one of two (!!) I was able to put together with the real 'pat pend' era.

The connecting tab for the length adjustment rod is broken. I do, however, have a tab/rod combo that works great. The "Trident" design what do you call it?! I have the other tab/rod, and it works fine if the tab is upside down.

Question: Is this pedal, with the 'trident' parts, 'correct' and original?
