Did rogers make any sets with gold hardware? I saw a picture of a big R set with gold hardware. Was it a spray paint job, or is it the real deal?

Years back in modern drummer,in the kit of the month a person had a Rogers 60's wmp gold plated hardware kit,but he had it done after market.At that time I had heard of people doing that to their kit.

Maxwells's sit, where he has Sammy Davis Jr's. Wh Marine Pearl set with
the gold-plated hardware. It's different, but I don't care for it.
