Thanks to all for your input thus far!

I suppose I need to find these label inside for a better opinion but does anyone have an idea of the year ( the snare I mentioned the serial n° ) and in fact if they hold any value?

Depends on the demand also I guess but just to have an idea of what I should ask when I find a place to advertise.... this forum appears to be mainly USA and being on a Spanish island might not help!😉

Get a drum key (cheap) and remove heads. Take photos of where wrap is lifting.

Sorry Ploughman, but I know nothing about drums, finding out more by the hour, and this set appears to be early to mid 60’s so before big R. Looking through the vent hole there is a big rag inside! Also seems like the Tom support is not original.... no label visible.

Yep size are as you suggested, cool wrap yes and apparently rare -ish but not best condition sadly. Two lugs cracked on the bass but all others seem ok....

Hi all!

It’s ok Ploughman I hear you have total s.... weather another forum member north of Chicago snow, blizzards and freeeeeeezing, so no worries!

So I spent the morning scrubbing and polishing and have attached a few photos here of the result, but........ now with knowledge gratefully gained from all I find floor tom legs are not original ( Premier are fitted) bass legs similar problem, amongst other things....so a few mods have happened over time...

Looks pretty I think but is not the yet undiscovered super rare find of the century that might have been....hey ho!

There have been a few known musicians on this island where I live so could have been something.

Any additional comments I will of course be pleased to hear.

I guess it will be down to what someone will give......when you see just the snare fitting on the super ten on eBay for 200$ thoughts wander...

Sending a bit of warmth from rainy Spain!

Hi all,

By the way, I’m not a drummer so if it’s set up all wrong, my apologies! (Have a giggle on me,)

Few more photos here. Given it’s perhaps over 50 years old and been stacked in a corner for over 8 years buffed up pretty good I think, despite mods and 3 cracked lugs....

So anyone in Europe interested give me a shout!

Hi Mark,

I think I answered somewhere the sizes that were as anothe member guessed 12 x7, 16 x 15 and bass is 20. The snare is super ten 14 x 4....

The SuperTen is usa made. There were approx. 9000+ made between 1972 and 1975 wearing the Oval SuperTen badge. 1973/74 for this one. Right in the middle of production. The English Rogers built under license by Bosey and Hawkes. http://englishrogersdrums.co.uk/

Alan Watt is a member here also. He is the number one source of information on ER history, parts and value.

These should be worth a few hundred at least.

Again my apologies for earlier.

Hi Ploughman, no problem!

My apologies for being a total novice, at a loss re drums and thanks for your input.

So given all the info would anyone care to guess a rough value?
