Took this picture at a gig setup yesterday before it got dark.

18 x 14 bass drum, 12 x 8 tom, 14 x 14 floor tom. All stickers inside are the large paper tags (Cleveland style) with Fullerton stamped on them. Put's this kit I'm guessing pre-1972. Bass drum is virgin

You too, bro........!!

I've been trying for a year to get a mix-and-match Koa outfit through Jollity, but so far Bobby doesn't have the inventory.....

Patience is my friend, ha !!

So I've been told.......;)

What makes them rare Ploughman? Sizes, wrap, tags or the combination of all?

the 14x18 BD

the 14x14 floor.

And the color.

This was ordered special by someone. They did not make a bunch of these. It was the era of bigger drums and the huge bass drum. The color is not that desireable, but the sizes will off set that.

Dang slick, BBK. Man oh man, I love the Koa finish. There's something about that wrap and that hardware that is just so right.

Thanks Ploughman, the odd thing is the tom, it has the Swiv mount, but the bass drum is virgin. So I'm wondering if that was part of another kit. I'd like to put the swivo mounton the bass drum in the future.

It's kind of growing on me too R.S. I have another KOA 9/72 in sizes 22,12,13 & 16. I'm going to sell it soon and keep the bop kit. Or maybe not!
