From Chasvo

This is my first post here. I'm looking for some help with a potential purchase. Perhaps someone can advise what price range would be reasonable. Thanks in advance.

Love the Brand, color, sizes, and condition.

If I were bidding right now, 500.00 US tops.

No foolin'.

If it is a re wrap,I think 500.00 to 600.00 is a fair deal.Hard to make the call without more info.I agree that the kit could be an early fullerton because of the sizes,22,16, 13 kits were available during the cleveland and dayton eras, but are uncommon,I see a lot less 22 cleveland kicks than 14 floor toms, and 22's are rare in dayton kits.If the wrap is original and in that condition the hardware should be nice too,so that kit looks like it would be in excellent condition. If it was a cleveland or dayton in that kind of shape I would say it could go for 800.00 to 1000.00,fullerton 600.00 to 800.00.I have a kit of vintage rogers and I really like them,if you are new to vintage that kit would be a nice start.

Thanks for the info everyone. Will be getting pics and details as in year, model etc. No this is not a re-wrap. I've yet to confirm if it has any crack in the wrap whatsoever as I'm told these tend to have. Will hopefully post pics later today when I get them. As for the pricing being tossed around...Are you guys quoting these 800-$1000 as what is fair or good as I've checked a few forums in the past few days and see 20-16-12 asking $1200 or more and this sizing Dayton era I think is suppose to be much more rare.

No pics yet...but this is what he reconfirmed...

- not mint but very nice????

- flat grey interior Dayton

- 16 interior has been repainted by a Rogers restoration expert?????

- only wrap crack is at the bottom of the BD

What does all this mean? and how does it affect the value from a collector's point?

Thanks

Seriously...$500? That's it? How do you explain why I see 12-14-20 configurations asking for more, like $1000 + both here and on Ebay? Play? not really. I'd rather play on my 6pc DW. This is for nostalgia as they are from a time when I started to play and then stopped..till recently.

500.00 is ridiculas depending on condition of wrap and chrome they are worth between 750.00 and 1000.00 but for three drums they have to be pretty sweet to get a grand.
