Rogers big R question

Hi all,

I have a usa Big R in ebony wrap. Serial #s all start with "D". My question is, were the ebony wraps of this era cortex like butcher block, Koa, etc. Or are they just typical thicknesses Delmar wrap? Thanks in advance!
