Where are they made if they are non-USA? what shells?

If they are 80's then they will have natural interiors which makes them XP8s (1979-84) the last that Rogers made. That is 8 ply rock maple shells by Keller. Well worth care and attention but may not be worth as much as say a 60s set to a collector.

Not all big Rs are XP8s.

Pics are good.

Ask if the badge says Made in USA. If so, buy them and enjoy them.

The hardware on the non-USA badged drum looks the same but the lug mount screw spacing is different. So you cannot buy them for parts to restore a USA shell kit. Tom arms are same size, but much cheaper plating.

Best to remember - No USA on badge, No Buy. Everything else is imported shells. Unless needed for a practice or thrash kit, don't pay more than bottom $.
