I honestly think you have 1500.00 worth of stuff there as a complet sale. You could seperate and get a little more.... The snare is 300 by itself. Another 400 for the cymbals. 800-1000 for the drums. 300-450 for the hardware and miscellanious. Others may chime in with differing numbers. Of course everything is dependant on condition and finding a buyer, which, in this economy, is not the easiest thing to do.

Its a great set of classic drums.

Thank you for posting the numbers. They help me.

I think 1500.00 is fair for that set the Rogers Big R drums are not as collectible as the Cleveland and Dayton but from the pictures they look in very good shape large kits like this can be hard to sell these days as most players have down scaled alot but if you are not in a big hurry you may well get that amount or you can break them into two sets and sell that way for around the same money maybe a bit more by throwing in some hardware or a cymbal either way great drums..

Sorry about being a jerk about the spelling- it always made me mad when people would assume my last name was spelled "Rodgers", and I got a LOT of flack in school for some dude whose last name was spelled "Rodgers" when my name wasn't. I was nearly suspended from school, and was once in the Obituary pages for that "Rodgers" dude. When I finally met him, let's just say we had a few words and I made him pay for what he did to my name.

Sorry again, mate!!!!

Big R drums are something that will be appreciated, just later on. $1500 in drums is a fair assessment. If you're patient enough, separate and sell on ebay. You could get more...

I learned to play on Rogers. I bought my first drumset in 1979, and it was Rogers. I still have them, and play them.
