From Drumguy1988

I apologise I really did think this section was for general stuff to talk about as well as Vintage drum stuff. Robin like musicians was an artist and a master of his craft. I thought his passing was worth mentioning. I respect the rules of this forum and will from now on stay with in the topic.

Drumguy.. If you had not posted the thread.. Then I know that I would have for certain.. and it would have been me taking the flack.. I think that there have been many threads much more worthy of deletion than this one.. RIP Robin..

Cheers

John

> You may be correct... but you're not 'right.'

Allow me to break it down for you so you can digest it:

"You are correct": this is a drum forum and this thread is off-topic.

"You're not right": You're heart is in the wrong place. People are expressing grief over the loss of someone who at one time or another brought moments of laughter and joy into all of our lives. You're 'not right' in the sense of being so insensitive and self-absorbed.

You have a tremendous need for attention. If you see any posts that are not of interest to you because they are off topic you can simply choose not to open/read them at all. Allow TommyP to make the call whether to delete or not. Choosing to break in and read everybody the riot act is something you do for attention. Negative attention I might add. Don't let it bother you so much. Nothing heavy going on. Just some folks expressing genuine grief over the loss of a loved one. No harm, no foul.

To Robin I say... Na-nu, na-nu Robin. Rest In Peace.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

You need to make sure you correctly use "you're" and "your". What I do for calling out O/T stuff is for ALL of us who don't want/need/desire to see it on this forum. I am merely a person who has the guts to say so. Don't assume you know where my heart is, you of all people should look in the mirror and ask yourself that very same question. As far as need for attention, who may I ask has over 6,400 posts in 3 years? Need I mention you spotlighting yourself on the Camco C/L question that was posted by another who was interested and how you felt the need to tell everyone it was you? I laugh at you and your manipulative mind games. You sir, are a piece of work.

Its better to have people think you're an idiot, than to open your mouth and prove them wrong, unless you doubt yourself then speak away....

Robin Williams!!! One of the great funny and/or dramatic actors in our time! He was a great one!

Didn't realize until listening to the radio this morning how many awesome roles he had in dramas that inspired me!

Love everyone!
