I have thought about parting half the drums out, but each time I look at the set I get all warm and fuzzy inside. LOL

Wow I'd say the 20" is very rare indeed.. Don't ever split them. Sure you'd regret it.

2nd pic opens up straight away, the way it should..

Just try the method I suggested. It takes less time than any other that I've seen here & anyone can do it.
