Has anybody ever tried repairing a Ludwig COB rim that has a crack? I'm curious if brazing or other options would work.

Have a Rogers 12" single flange that is busted at the seam. Taking it to my hope you can fix this guy Mon.

Brazing will work, however the chrome will turn blue.
(silver solder)

I have seen guys repair a cracked chrome bicycle frame by using stainless steel rod.
If done by a pro you can't tell.
I suppose it would work for a drum hoop. :D
