It's been quite a few years since I've checked in here. I'm considering selling a Supraphonic snare that I bought about 10 years ago or so from a super nice gentleman on this VDF forum who would regularly rehab and resell them to us members. He rode a motorcyle and was from Georgia >??)... anyway I was just thinking of him. I'm sure you nice people recall his name. I believe he passed away some time ago, sadly. Anyway, nice to be back. Hope everyone is well. :)

I think you are thinking of Mike Layton. I believe he was from Tennessee, but I might be wrong. He was killed in a single driver motorcycle crash several years ago. Yes, he was very generous with his knowledge and was a member of several drum discussion sites.

Yes that was Mike. I forgot about the circumstances of his accident. Makes it even sadder. Thank you. I think I'll keep the snare after all.
