Alrighty, long story short. The last girlfriend I had before I met my wife, I helped her purchase a used red sparkle Slingerland kit for one of her kids. It was in great shape, original hardware, decent cymbals. Now she has emailed me wanting to sell the kit. I don't want the kit as I have enough right now, but I hate to see this kit go to waste. And I don't want to contact her (long story).

Would anyone here be interested in it. I can get it through a third party/mutual friend and pass it on. I am going to have him talk to her and try to get pics. Its been almost ten years, and a lot can happen, but I was wondering if someone was interested, then I'd make the effort.

Not sure about the year, but I am guessing late 60's early 70's. Sizes all standard depths 22, 12, 13, 16 and 14 snare. i don't remember the snare, but I am pretty sure it is/was a Chrome Slingy...

Kit is not spoken for, altho Michael showed first interest. I would truly like to stay out of it as much as possible. At the same time, it was a great set of drums that were in great shape. I hate to see something destructive happen to them and I think somebody here would appreciate them the most.

With all that said, the kit, as well as me, are located in IL. I would estimate shipping to Cali would be around $70 give or take a couple hundred....lol
