Oh Yee of little faith. Nothing really wrong with this drum that a little polishing can't fix. Here's the same drum after just a little Simmichrome treatment and new wrap:

Any of us that watch Antiques Roadshow are well aware that this drum is not rusty, it just has great patina! Polishing it would totally devalue this antique.

Recently I bought a cymbal, and the seller threw in a CB700 pedal for free. Now I've got this super heavy-duty pedal that looks like it weighs a ton, and is about as responsive as a sack of grain. I'm thinking the next time I sell a cymbal, I'll throw in this CB700 pedal for free :)
