recently picked up this set, it was in pretty rough condition but took the time to strip it, clean and polish all the chrome and the shells, repaint the bass drum hoops, replace some heads and here we have it -

a Vintage Rogers kit in original pink oyster wrap!

the wrap has definitely faded over time but still displays nicely and is pretty evenly faded across all of the drums. as with any vintage oyster wrap, there is splitting / cracking of the wrap, but fortunately since its pink oyster, its very hard to spot any of the splits as under the wrap the shell was painted red.

its in original condition with original parts with no extra holes or mods, but it seems the swivo mounts on the toms need replacement collets - the ones on there are missing the levers but still work by twisting them. also the spur mounts will need replacements as well.

aside from that, the drums are great. bass drum inlays are original, the chrome cleaned up nice, the kit still displays itself beautifully, and best of all it sounds great like a vintage Rogers kit should!

I enjoy a 3 pc kit so i set it up in the pics as a 13/16/22, but i also have the matching 12" tom for it.
