I want to swap-out the rail consolette on my 1960 Ludwig downbeat kit for gigging purposes only (no drilling). It's a blade style and I can't get the tilt or height right. I am thinking about getting a RIMS mount for the tom and just leaving the diamond plate on the drum. It needs to be a lower profile so I can easily fold it down to fit in my case, also, tool-less would be great. Is there anything out there that will fit and hold well? Thanks in advance.
