Radio King Bass Drum - BOP 50's 13X22 - Page 1

Here's a 13X22 Blue Oyster Pearl (I believe) Radio King Bass drum - is 50's badge ...the shell is in fantastic shape as well as the lugs - claws have some rust that could stand to be cleaned up ...resonant head reads rogers, batter head is original RK calf with a small tear and rip (still sounds great, but should be replaced if heavily used) --- holes are plugged with bolts but I believe all to be original...holes for spurs, holes for cymbal arm and holes for a rail consolette.

Actually - maybe this is black diamond pearl? drum is definitely blue ...not sure what the wrap would be called.

That's definitely a "diamond" pearl in lieu of an "oyster" pearl. With my one functioning eye it certainly appears to be a black diamond pearl. I'd also assume that it's a 14x22. I've never heard of a 13x22. Nice drum!

Oldschools correct it's Black diamond pearl. here is the color swatch from the time period of your badge, and the size should be a 14" not 13". http://www.vintagedrumguide.com/images/finishes/slingerland/slingerland_55.jpg
