I decided to clean out some old trap cases that I had picked up with some old drum kits many years ago. The first case I got to was from a very old Leedy kit. I happened to find this old train whistle that looks like it was actually carved out of a tree. I imagine that there's a select group out there somewhere that actually collects these types of sound effects. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this one at this point. I must say though that the sound is quite realistic.
