Hi Mick. Those drums were discussed, but it was years ago, no apologies needed. They first surfaced near Covington several years ago. Looks like they surfaced again with a hefty price tag. Very nice, interesting set and good to see again. Thanks for sharing.

I guess those would be replacement heads correct? They all seem to have the later Rogers logo on them. Otherwise they do look pretty sweet! Thanks for posting them Mick. On a side note you ever grab those RK's were had been talking about? Hope all is well too buddy.

Glenn.

Correct that it was listed...on eBay back in December of 2012, by Cheri Willoughby. I downloaded all the pictures and complete text. It's a stunning kit! I'll find the pictures and post some later. They look great with the clear maple interiors!

Here's a portion of the ad:

"This set was ordered direct from Rogers from a company employee who was not a drummer but wanted a nice looking set for display in his home recreation room. Well this is certainly quite a spectacle for any display!! Rare sizes, finish and hardware!"

Price and size aside, boy would I like to be the first drummer to lay sticks to those drums!

A Virgin! An opportunity to bust a cherry like this one doesn't come up very often. :D

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Yes, good point...original buyer must have custom-ordered this Cleveland set with no badges, no interior labels, no interior paint, and heads from the future. :D
