Questions Re: Rogers Holiday Snare Drum

Loading...

I've got a Rogers Holiday snare drum with Bread & Butter lugs (shockingly uncracked). I'm trying to determine whether the t-rods shown in the first two pics are original to the drum.

The drum's got a Rogers Swiv-O-Matic strainer installed on the shell. However, I'm assuming that this strainer wasn't original to the drum since there are three extra small holes in the area where the strainer is mounted. Would my assumption be correct? The final two pics I've posted show these holes from the interior of the shell. Does anyone know which strainer would have been installed utilizing these three holes and would this strainer have been original to the drum?

As usual, thanks in advance for your time and your help!

Ploughman: ALWAYS a pleasure hearing from you. Thanks for your input. Any ideas on the extra strainer holes?

Those are courtesy of a former owner who is now burning in drum hell, being roasted and poked by ten thousand flaming drumstick demons for all eternity. Looks like someone mounted a three point of some sort on there at one time.
