Question on Camco and Geo.Way shells

Are the shells the same? or are the inside rings bigger is size on Geo.Way shells then Camco shells? Mikey

Geo. Way rings are larger than later Camco. (see photos) My bass drum is a 1959 Geo. Way. It has very wide rings. The snare drum is a 60's Oaklawn. Much shorter rings on the Oaklawn. Thankfully, they both have that same great Geo. Way bearing edge profile.

Dolfan will hopefully chime in. He knows tons more about Camco than I do.
