Question about 70s Rogers Drums

Hi, i have a question about where the tom mount on an early 70s bass drum should be. Someone saw the photo's of my Rogers kit that is for sale, and mentioned there might be extra holes in the bass drum because the tom mount is located in the center of the drum.

Does anyone know if that is factory original ? i have seen others on ebay and Rogers drum sites and if they had 2 toms the post was centered, also as far as the finish inside the drum nothing seems to be filled or patched. Thanks for any feedback, regards Jack

A center mount was standard on the double mounted Londoner kits.

Yes, in the center,but way up towards the front head.........

Not exactly in the middle of the drum.
