I think if you put it at the lowest heat it would be fine but you dont need to worry about it. Was the wood "green" or kiln dried before you steamed it? If it was kiln dried than if you take it off the bending form and put a fan in front of it that would suffice. You could put a couple clamps at the joint just to keep the shape. It will be springy but once it is glued it will be strong, rigid. If the wood was green before you bent it then I would worry about it twisting out of shape if you put it in the oven. Can you supply all the details so we can figure a right answer!
Putting wood in the kitchen oven
Well I did a little research and found a few interesting pages, but it most of the negative press came from a guy who put some sort of termite killing spray on the wood then put it in the oven...
others are saying kitchen ovens heat from the inside out and thus any extreme curves and bends may crack easier. Others say a few minutes in the oven is okay at a low temperature.
1/8th to a 1/4 inch maple and mahogany kiln dried before bent around form. steam box for less then or equal to 15 min high temp.
Hey oldschool, I found a few conversations about using a microwave! Do some more homework before you mess with your shell. There may be options. One guy talks about using a box with two light bulbs and a small fan. Where there is a will there is a way!

Do you have a moisture meter? I think at those thicknesses and being kiln dried, the fan will be fine.
