So if finding a 100% factory 18" Gretsch round badge bass drum was not lucky enough....I found this kit local.

I paid way less than I did for the 12 16 20 I got from Steve (although his did come with matching snare). The seller had another kit up on eBay and he mentioned this when I was headed over to look at the kit he was selling.

Could not be happier!

I have the exact same kit ( circa 1963 ) with the matching snare .
