It's all relative man. If one wants something badly enough, and someone else has it, then why not make a profit? This is how many people make a living. If you want quick, and easy access, then go mainstream like Ebay. If you have patience and fortitude, then be diligent and wait for a real bargain. You pay one way or the other - the OP of this thread even stated that he 'paid way too much' for his kit... that's how this game works.
That is exactly right. I would never begrudge someone for making money on a transaction. It always seems like there are a lot of people that don't like people making money....unless it is themselves of course. No disrespect to anyone on this forum, however, if you can get "X" dollars for an item, then you should.
There is nothing wrong with getting a Ludwig Keystone 4 piece for $50, but there is also nothing wrong with finding a buyer that is willing to pay $400 for an MIJ kit. That does not necessarily make one greedy. You would only be greedy if you presented the MIJ kit as something it is not.
