This comment left me in tears. i was showing my 13Pc sonor sigs to a collector and the first thing that came out of filthy pie hole was she's so beautifull i want to be left alone with her and #@%! it. yup that comment was a bit odd to me and i never did invite that guy back to check out my drums even tho it was funny to hear.

Not really odd, when you figure that alot of kids and people in their 20s who are getting into music don't have a clue as to the history of the world around them. However it does provide for a really good laugh when you're stressed out...lol

After showing up at a Concert around 2005 with my Rogers Big-R Kit,

Some kid says "Wow, Are Those New"?

But, the best one I love and it goes for any kit, is just after playing someone elses kit in a concert and you walk up to the owner as they are wide eyed and have a big smile and they say "I didn't know they could sound like that"

I've had my white oyster Amatis called "toilet colored" or "disco drums". I have no clue where the second remark came from!

Oh and when I was buying some vintage drums, seller said: "Allow me to ask you one question. Why are you interested in such horrible old junk?"

We used to call cheap inlay material for guitars "mother of toilet seat".
