Players grade jazz fest value

Loading...

Found a '62 jazz fest in players grade. The bad:

Recovered in gosh awful wrap

Re- worked edges at least reso side

Grommet replaced with non factory

Drum sounds nice and it's likely not selling soon but I think the asking price of

$250 is too high. Thoughts?

Player grade implies a drum in decent 'original' condition. 'Sounds more like this one -used to be- a jazzfest! The hardware and the shell are worth $100. I wouldn't pay any more than that for a drum as altered beyond recognition as that one is.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Here it is in all its glory. I know my last Jazz fest I paid $150 and it was in un modified and fairly decent condition. This drum was part of a set a local music shop got. The set is a strange mix of Chicago, Monroe and unknown Ludwig drums all in this awesome wrap.
