This was done with foil method?? That's impressive!!!!

Seriously, I kid you not. It really does work a treat. I got it looking vaguely silver with soaking and cleaning but when I tried to polish it with rags it just ripped through them, and my fingers. It took 20 minutes with the foil and water. I finished with a polish and a wax.

Anybody ever use Spray-on Chrome? Looks like the cheapest kit of this stuff is about $150. It may be worth it in the long run. Imagine what you could do!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-1cTpSZ1l8It would be ALOT cheaper than re-chroming the conventional way.

I tell you what I'm very impressed with these spray on chrome finishes. They have come a long way over the last several years. Granted the original chroming process is by far the best. I haven't seen any of these painted finishes in person either.

Andrew, those before and after shots are amazing~! I don't think I saw them before! Great job there.

Fayray, that snare is the best argument yet for the foil method. Truly amazing!

Thanks to all for the input. I'll post the "after" shots when the kit is done...
