Pioneer snare..nice find

Loading...

Anyway, I told my self I would not buy any more drums till the drum show, and I bought 3 snares in the last week, go figure. I'm not a Ludwig guy, but I saw this Pioneer wood snare on CList, so I made an appointment to look at it, he was asking $175. I did some research first, I see them on EB going between $250-$350. This one was a nice dark wood, original heads, and snares. with case, stand and practice pad. Buttom line, I picked her up $115. I took it home and played some on her, nice fat punchy sound from a 6 lugger. I never thought a 6 lug would sound this good, anyway, I'm happy, pics coming soon. I may bring it to my gig this friday..............Mind Blowi

Ha, I was looking at that same drum! I just wasn't sure about the throw so I passed it by.

Love Pioneers....thats why I'm collecting as many different finishes as I can find. You got a good deal, hard to find wood finish drums that are not all scratched up.
