Man these have certainly taken a hit price-wise in the past few years . I've got a near mint 20" medium 602 flat that I've been trying to sell here in Japan for years now for what I thought was a fair price of $ 350 but no bueno . $ 175 ? Crazy man !

I actually paid well on this locally as here in Canada there isn't massive demand for vintage cymbals, especially if they are not zildjian - vintage drums tend to bring strong prices but other bits and pieces not so much - I just bought an early 70s zildjian 18" swish in perfect condition for 100 CDN or about 70USD and a newish Bosphorus 18 New Orleans Crash for USD 110 locally - lot of people don't want to ship so they take what they can get - vintage 602s at maxwelldrums still command pretty high prices in the US market -this one is in exceptional condition.
