Patience is a virtue

I think I have been watching ebay for this auction for over a year since my hoops are missing inlays. Now I know why some people pay way over the going price for a particular item. Although I don't think I got such a bad deal here.

Now I just need the correct floor tom and my kit will be complete!

Your correct some times you just have to pay the sellers price, other times it works in your favor. I have pieces I have been looking for over 12 years for.

Nice. Sometimes you just need to buy :).

I was thinking about this last night as I was refinishing some Oyster Black Pearl hoops. I kept thinking "don't screw this up, i bet these are tough and $$ to come by on ebay"!.

Glad you got them!

For something so hard to find, I'd say that's a pretty good deal. I'd be happy.

Congrats.

Oooohh I bet those black oysters would be even harder to find. Yeah treat 'em like gold.

I know finding the floor tom is going to really suck. Not only do I have to find it, I have to have several hundred $$ in spare cash at the time. Last one I saw was asking about $1200 buy it now which is more than I paid for the entire kit... so I just can't do that.

Regardless, my wife will kill me when that time comes.

Nice I would say they are a pretty good price too. And being exactly what you need with correct color inlays nicely done. You just can't go wrong with the original correct parts. :)
