I'm scheduled to work but could possibly come down with a case of something like "goldsparkleitis". It's in Selinsgrove BTW and here's a linky.http://www.lawtondrum.com/19th_drum_show.html
PA drum show October 19th. Anybody going?
I'd love to go, Mick, but I'm up the wazoo with kits and projects as it is. If I spend another penny on drums... Bev will have my scalp! :p
When are you coming down for another visit to Rancho Purdie?
John
I'm going! Don't need anything but may find something that I have to have! The Band

How do I get on the list to be invited to this in the future?
Use the link in Mick's original post and ask Jack Lawton to put you on his mailing list. The PA Drum Show is a once a year event I believe.
Mick, sorry I couldn't make this one, looks like there were some nice drums to be had. If any of you guys attend one of these in the future, make it a point to meet Jack Lawton and spend a little time talking drums with him. The man is an encyclopedia of drum knowledge. Very nice guy too!
Turbojerk - Thanks for posting the photos! If you took more, post them up for those of us who couldn't make it to the show.
John
Hey Purdie, After you said you had enough stuff to keep busy for a while and weren't going, I bailed too. I still have the RB kit that's in need if some attention.(just ordered a Maxwell rail, they were out of stock for a few months) Plus I've been chewing on the idea of buying a nice old WMP Slingerland set with the 3 ply Mahogany shells. After factoring in that stuff I decided not to go by myself to just "look around".
Looking at just a couple pics makes me wish I woulda' just gone!!
