Logitech and Microsoft make lots of good ones! I've found the smaller versions, for use with laptops, are nice and comfortable. If you've got a large hand, then look for the "normal size" version. They all come with a small USB transceiver to plug into a USB port. I see these for sale almost every week for $20 at Staples and Office Depot.
I'm putting together a gaming PC for my girlfriend's granddaughter. Just spent $110 on a gaming keyboard and $40 for a mouse...which was pretty inexpensive! You can really get carried away with gaming hardware!

I have used the Logitec M510 and been very satisfied.
Use a Dell wireless mouse and keyboard with my pc. They work great.

Logitech. $15 at the local wholesale club on sale. Use a good brand AA battery and you'll get months of service out of it. Cheap-o batterys like a week or so.
